For the all of the scenario units, I had to develop a normalization table to keep some sanity among the 3.700 units. I would agree in part, depending on your point of reference as to the 'custom' battle units or the Historical Scenario units. If you follow along or have ideas, resource links, etc, I'm glad to have them.Īs to the 'lack of uniqueness'. I would like to also get more Valley Campaign maps included. More scenarios as well, some for the 2.0 maps.

Five to ten new maps including day 2 at Chickamauga and the Missionary Ridge battles. I am working on new content for 2.1 along with a couple bug fixes. This latest version was 15 months in the making after I released 1.0 back in 2014. As always I thank you for watching and following the series of ACW battles, they really have been some of my favourite battles of any mod for NTW and I'm extremely grateful to the mod creators for their time and hard work in creating such a fine mod for us to enjoy.HEY!!! That's MY mod Glad to hear feedback over at if you guys have anything to add. But I may also return to the ACW hardcore mod in the future, and fight any battles I haven't covered in this series. I'll upload some battles from that in the near future perhaps. So at the moment I've reverted back to the NTW3 mod, just to play some leisurely SP campaign from time to time. It's a shame, because they were impressive battles, with the NTC mod, I had 40 unit armies, the artillery teams were 10 cannons per regiment and in some battles I had 60 or more cannon and howitzers blazing away, but the fact that about 4 in 5 battles were night actions finally got on my nerves and I uninstalled the mods. For the time being I'll be playing other things and other mods for NTW, I have been playing the Napoleon Total Combat and Napoleon Total Factions mod and did record some battles from that, but I had a change of heart, mainly because there were too many night battles and they are almost impossible to record well or understand what is going on.

It was a glorious fight non the less and I hope you enjoy the action. It was my second recording of the battle, the first got lost through in adventure, so I had to redo the battle and recording.

This time I'm playing this battle as the Union and controlling all the units. The first of a trio of ACW hardcore scenario battles I'll reveal today, which also clears the decks of videos I've done from the mod.
